Grant Windle is the founding pastor of Lifeplace Church (formerly CCC Westside) in Brisbane, Australia. In 2009 he successfully transitioned his church to the next generation with his son Ben Windle taking the reigns as Senior Pastor. Grant along with his wife Cheryl also heads up ‘Church Advance’ a ministry established to assist pastors and churches around the world.
Grant has been a pastor for over 30 years and has been the driving force in planting not one but five churches in Australia. He has travelled the world extensively, preaching and promoting God’s word. He not only has the practical experience to understand how to navigate life’s challenges but underpins it with an incredibly strong gift of communication.
As well as being the Event Host for the video documentary Miracle Ride, Grant played a key role in Darryl's miraculous survival. Grant and his wife Cheryl were holidaying in Italy when they heard of Darryl's motorcycle accident and the news he was not expected to live through the night. Grant and Cheryl flew immediately back to Brisbane to be with Darryl and his family. Prior to leaving Italy, Grant with the assistance of son Ben and key members of Lifeplace Church, coordinated the general church community to come together in prayer for Darryl. Upon landing in Brisbane Grant and Cheryl went straight to ICU at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and spent the next three weeks praying by Darryl's bedside until he woke from his induced coma.
Grant is often sought after to host and present at different forums and has also produced two critically acclaimed documentaries on the plight of children in Uganda and India of which one, ‘Cinderella Children’, received two Telly Awards.
Grant is a Certified Behavioural Consultant with ‘The Institute of Motivational Living’ Pennsylvania, USA.
